Happy Wednesday all, how did your first day of self-improvement go? It doesn’t have to be some drastic measure, but just a little something you can be proud of. Yesterday I managed to get a little something done in this area, I went to bed last night without going on social media. I took the long way around the pond at the park, just to get some steps in and practice my breathing. When cooking breakfast this morning, instead of feeling my head with the day’s news, I ask Alexa to play mediation music. This not only put me in a good mood, but it allowed me to focus and think of the things I wanted to get done that day. Last but not least, I didn’t take a nap after breakfast. This is a hard one for me, especially when I’m off and my meds make me pretty drowsy. I stayed in my office majority of the day redesigning my website, and blog! As you can see I didn’t take drastic measures, but I feel good about the small steps. Each of these small improvements, leads to the bigger ones in due time. There was a time I couldn’t even get out of bed, much less walk some damn place. Life was really rough these last couple of years, so anything I do to improve myself I’m just over the moon about. I now know that if I’m going to change my life, I first have to improve my mindset as well. Happy Self Improvement!! I’d love to hear what you all did or any suggestions.
